The official text and syllabus is changing for fall 2026 and will be posted soon. Accessible WORD docs of the syllabus and CLO will be attached below under "Documents" nearer the bottom of the page.

Sample Final C

If you print via your browser from those webpages, each question will be on a separate page leaving space to workout the problem. In the Documents area are alternate versions which print all questions on two pages.

Grading

The letter grade for the class is determined by taking 60% of the class average (based mostly or fully on in-class testing, details as announced by your section instructor) added to 40% of the score on the comprehensive final exam. During the academic year, there will be a department group final exam given during final exam week (date and time will be announced on the registrar's site, so don't book a ticket for travel leaving on or before the last day of exam week). For the summer term, please consult your instructor.

Homework

It is part of the homework to read the textbook, or some other appropriate calculus book that covers the material. Note that answers to all odd numbered problems are at the end of almost every calculus text.

The course will use the free WeBWorK online homework system. You can find the site for your class by looking for 26 Fa201 XX where XX is the letter code for your section (which run from AB to UV).

Your login is your CCNY domain name typed in LOWERCASE (this is crucial, any other way of entering it will NOT be recognized), and your password is the one that goes with it. These are usually the same as your Citymail userid (without the @...) and email password, thus you cannot change your userid or password on the WeBWorK system. Your login for summer 26 will remain unchanged despite the recent migration to the new student email system and I hope this will continue into the fall: will update this info as it becomes available.

Since passwords must be reset every 180 days, sudden inability to login to WeBWorK is often linked to that issue. Changing the phone used for email MFA can also adversely affect your ability to login until you register the new device. As a first resort to remedy a login difficulty, try changing your password using CCNY's reset site and it will immediately automatically change on WeBWorK as well.
