Abstract

In this talk, we prove a quaternionic analog of well known results on compact complex surfaces. For instance, a very recent result of Angella-Dloussky-Tomassini states that a compact complex surface is Kähler if and only if the complex second Bott-Chern and Aeppli cohomology groups satisfy a certain relation. The quaternionic analog is to prove that a compact hypercomplex manifold of real dimension 8 with holonomy in SL(2,H) is hyperkähler with torsion (HKT) if and only the quaternionic Bott-Chern and Aeppli cohomologies satisfy an analog condition. This is joint work with Patrick Weber.
