Herbert Jue grew up in Brooklyn, NY, with his two brothers and one sister, where he collected an eclectic group of friends (ex., Vinnie Barbarino and Woody Allen). He ran away from home in 1977 to join the circus, but as they already had a half man / half woman, he decided to go to college instead. But then rock und roll (see www.bigtakeover.com) came along and swept him off his feet. He was a failed writer and record mogul (see http://www.elviscostello.info/wiki/index.php/Bootleg:_The_Kvinde_Hader_Klub_Flexi), and sought solace in sports (see http://cantstopthebleeding.com/). Lacking any athletic skills, Herb soon drifted into dumpster diving and thrifting with a passion. His attempts to stick his nose into (oh so very disposable) popular culture have shepherded (see www.newsoftheweird.com) him into shilling feminine products (see www.stayfreemagazine.org) and to collect Metrocards. Herbie promises to respond to all fan mail.
