NSF Computational Mathematics program awards grant to Weilin Li
June 14, 2023
Weilin Li received a single-investigator National Science
Foundation grant from the Computational Mathematics program.
The project,
"Multidimensional and Compressive Super-Resolution: Theory,
Computation, and Fundamental Limits" develops novel
super-resolution algorithms that will be used for imaging and
signal processing and provides their performance guarantees. The
applications include remote sensing, super-resolution fluorescence
microscopy, quantum information theory, and other settings where
where high-resolution compressed sampling methods are required.
This project moves beyond existing one-dimensional models to the
higher-dimensional settings required in a range of
applications.
