My research interests are in algebraic geometry, the study of sets of zeros of polynomial equations. Much of my work has dealt with Brauer groups and etale cohomology. I am particularly interested in characteristic p > 0. Since I retired I have become interested in differential algebra and, in particular, to introducing the language of schemes and Grothendieck topologies to differential algebraic geometry.
