¡Hola! I am from Toa Alta, a town on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Rio Piedras. I ventured to New York City, where I pursued and attained my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Mathematics from CCNY. I'm on the verge of completing my Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. My advisor is Richard McGehee, and my dissertation is on a conceptual model for permafrost thawing.

My academic journey has been fueled by a passion for dynamical systems, partial differential equations, the mathematics of climate, machine learning, and the fascinating applications of mathematics in ecology. As an active collaborator within the Mathematics and Climate Research Network: https://sites.google.com/view/math-climate , I deeply explore the intricate intersections of mathematics and environmental science.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach at CCNY, the institution that propelled me to learn mathematics. I welcome you to my course, where we'll delve into the captivating world of mathematics together.
