- Quizzes: 20%
- Midterm 1: 20%
- Midterm 2: 20%
- Final: 40%
Exam Information
- Midterm 1: March 11, 8:00 PM - 9:40 PM
- Midterm 2: April 17, 8:00 PM - 9:40 PM
- Final Exam: May 22, 8:30 PM -10:45 PM
Midterms 1 and 2 are administered during the class time. No make-up exams are allowed for the midterms. The final exam is administered on Wednesday, May 22. No calculators, books, or notes are permitted on any exam. You are required to bring a photo ID.
Attendance
Attendance is mandatory. Missing more than 4 classes will result in a reduction of your final score by 5%. Exceptions could be made only if proper documentation regarding the circumstances is provided.
Homework and Quizzes
Homework will be assigned but not graded. Problem sets will be posted on Blackboard. Quizzes will be given at the beginning of the class on Monday every two weeks. Typical quiz exercises will be selected homework problems. There are no make-up quizzes. To address extraordinary circumstances that lead to missing or performing poorly on a quiz, the lowest quiz score will be dropped.
