Steps needed to get MatLab via CCNY site license:

1.  Go to http://www.mathworks.com/  and click "Create Account" on the top 
right. 

2.  Be sure to use a CUNY email address to create the account, and choose 
"Academic use" in the "How will you use Mathworks software?" dropdown menu.   

3.  After your account is created, be sure you can log in to the site. 

4.  Then, email   MatLab@sci.ccny.cuny.edu  from the same CUNY email address and 
request to be added to the Matlab license.  Be sure to mention that you already 
have a Mathworks account with that email address. 

5.  After you are added to the license, log in and click "My Account" on the top 
right.  You should see a box saying "Account services" with "R2012b" and you 
should be able to download the software from there.
