Matrix theory, linear equations, Gauss elimination, determinants, general vector spaces, basis and dimension, eigenvalue problems and first order systems of ordinary differential equations, vector field theory, theorems of Green, Stokes, and Gauss. Prereq.: Math 20300; Pre- or coreq.: Math 39100. No specialization credit will be given for both Math 32500 and 39200. 4 HR./WK.; 4 CR.
